Incoming Staff Mobility at Singidunum University
Singidunum University welcomes academic and administrative staff from partner institutions within the Erasmus+ Programme.
Incoming staff mobility may be organised for teaching (Staff Mobility for Teaching – STA) or training (Staff Mobility for Training – STT).
All incoming staff mobility requests are subject to prior approval by Singidunum University. Acceptance depends on the relevance of the proposed mobility, availability of the appropriate academic or administrative unit, the University teaching schedule and the applicable Erasmus+ institutional arrangements.
How to Apply
Nomination is required
Incoming staff members should not apply individually without prior involvement of their home institution.
The Erasmus+ or International Office of the home institution must send an official nomination to:

CV and Teaching Proposal
The nomination must be accompanied by the staff member's CV in English.
The CV should clearly indicate the applicant's academic position, teaching and research areas and include a short selection of relevant publications or other academic outputs.
The nomination e-mail should also include the proposed teaching area or topics and the preferred mobility period.
Why this information is needed
This information enables Singidunum University to determine whether the proposed teaching activities correspond to its current study programmes and whether an appropriate academic host and course can be identified.
Teaching Dates
Please note that the exact teaching schedule for the upcoming semester may not yet be available at the time of application.
For this reason, the dates indicated in the initial request should be regarded as preferred dates.
If the mobility is academically accepted, the Erasmus+ Office will coordinate with the relevant faculty and confirm the exact teaching dates once the semester timetable is available.
Do not book travel too early
Applicants are advised not to purchase travel tickets or make non-refundable arrangements before receiving written confirmation from Singidunum University.
Applications received after the relevant deadline may be considered only exceptionally and subject to academic and organisational availability.
Minimum Teaching Hours
For standard Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Teaching, the teaching programme must comply with the applicable Erasmus+ requirements, including the required number of teaching hours.
Under the current Erasmus+ rules, a teaching activity normally includes at least eight hours of teaching per week or for a mobility period shorter than one week.
Staff Mobility for Training
To provide a structured programme and meaningful opportunities for interaction with colleagues, incoming Staff Mobility for Training is primarily organised in connection with the Singidunum University International Day / International Staff activities, normally held in May.
International Day / International Staff Activities
The exact dates are announced separately once the annual programme has been confirmed.
Staff interested in participating in the May training period should be officially nominated by their home institution no later than 15 March.
Nominations may be submitted before the exact event dates are announced.
What should be included
The nomination must be accompanied by a CV in English and should specify the staff member's current position and department, as well as the professional area in which they would like to undertake training or job-shadowing activities at Singidunum University.
Based on this information, the Erasmus+ Office will determine whether an appropriate department or administrative unit is available to host the participant and whether the requested activities can be incorporated into the programme.
Erasmus+ rules allow training mobility to include training events and job shadowing or observation activities, while conferences are not considered staff training mobility.
Individual training visits
Individual training visits outside the announced training period are not normally accepted.
Exceptions may be considered where the visit forms part of an existing institutional project, established cooperation or another specifically agreed activity.
An additional training period may be announced during the academic year if organisational capacity and partner interest allow.
Review and Acceptance
Nomination does not equal acceptance
Submission of a nomination does not automatically constitute acceptance of the mobility.
Once the nomination and supporting documents have been received, the Erasmus+ Office will consult the relevant academic department or administrative unit.
Teaching Mobility
The assessment will primarily consider the applicant's academic profile, proposed teaching area and its relevance to the courses offered at Singidunum University.
Training Mobility
The assessment will consider the applicant's professional responsibilities, proposed area of training and the availability of a suitable host unit.
Decision by e-mail
The applicant and the sending institution will be informed by e-mail whether the mobility can be accepted.
Mobility Agreement
The Erasmus+ Mobility Agreement for Teaching or Mobility Agreement for Training should be prepared after the proposed mobility has been accepted and the programme and dates have been agreed with Singidunum University.
The Mobility Agreement must be approved by the participant, the sending institution and Singidunum University before the mobility begins.
This is consistent with the Erasmus+ requirement that the programme of teaching or training be agreed by all parties in advance.
Wait for confirmation first
Please do not send a Mobility Agreement for signature before receiving confirmation that Singidunum University can host the proposed mobility.
Erasmus+ Funding
Funding is arranged by your home institution
Incoming participants are responsible for arranging Erasmus+ funding with their home institution.
Acceptance of a mobility by Singidunum University does not in itself imply financial support from Singidunum University.
Under the standard Erasmus+ staff mobility model, the sending institution manages the participant's Erasmus+ grant.
